This car is a solid 4.5-star car for the price. I rounded up because the issues are minor overall.The first problem shows up right out of the box. The shipping carton is large, heavy, and has very little padding. Both of my rear plastic decorative frames arrived cracked. I'd be surprised if others don’t see similar damage, given the minimal protection. That said, it’s not noticeable once assembled and doesn’t affect the appearance or performance. (Photos included.)Assembly was straightforward. The instructions aren't great, but the process is straight forward, and it took about 30 minutes. Everything needed is included except for a screwdriver. The internal frame is metal, but many of the exterior parts are plastic and feel like they could be fragile. If you need to lift or carry the car, grab the metal sidebars - not the plastic panels.The battery arrived about 95% charged, but I topped it off until the charger light turned green. The startup sound.. is probably unnecessary but i appreciate the seatbelt reminder.The built-in music is bad, but bluetooth pairing was instant and reconnects automatically. Once paired, the music and lights were a huge hit with our 3-year-old. The color-changing hood lights and actual headlights (toggled from the dash) add a lot of fun. The hood also opens for storage. The rear light bar works too, but requires two AA batteries (not included). The remote uses two AAA batteries (also not included).Outside, the car was a massive hit. Our 3-year-old can barely reach the pedals, so this should last a few seasons. The parent remote is simple, even though the manual barely explains it:P = Park, which stops the car and flashes the remote lightsS = Speed (1, 2, 3 levels indicated on the remote)Directional buttons drive the car forward/backward and turn the wheelsTop speed is pretty quick, and stopping is a bit abrupt. Reverse seems to run at full speed, while forward speed depends on either the 1–3 settings on the remote or the high/low switch on the dashboard.This is a great value for the price. The components feel well-made, it includes a great 24V battery, and it should provide years of use. When storing for winter, disconnect the battery and keep it above freezing to maximize lifespan.

Bought for 7 year old grandson. He loves it. We are in Oklahoma and have about 6 inches of snow, this 4x4 went right through it, no problems. The frame is steel. It comes partially put together for you. You can’t go wrong buying this one. It’s worth every penny.
