Casters were already mounted and all I had to do was double-check the hardware. Had the car up on all four dollies within 20 minutes of opening the box.Each dolly is hefty and feels overbuilt in a good way. Welds look clean, and the red powder coat has held up great to shop abuse so far.
I’ve used them on a heavy crew cab and on my ’72 Chevelle. Both feel secure in the curved trays and move smoothly once they’re up on the dollies.
I had flat-style dollies before and the tires always wanted to walk off the edge. The curved platform on these Garvees cradles the tire and feels way more secure.
I’m not a big guy, but I can still push my sedan around solo when it’s on these dollies. The bearings in the wheels must be decent because there’s very little resistance.
