The good: Works well! Constructed well! Heavy duty! Pavers stayed on weight deck well. Aerated well! Nice tires!The bad: pain in the a55 to put together. You’ll see what I mean.
Really satisfied with this well-built lawn aerator. The heavy steel core offers great durability. It attaches easily to my ATV, covering wide areas quickly. The spikes penetrate evenly, helping my lawn absorb water and nutrients much better.
My clay soil was rock hard. I added 100 lbs of sand to the tray and towed this behind my riding mower. The 24 steel tines pulled deep plugs consistently. The 40" width covered ground fast. Lawns look amazing now. Highly recommend this plug aerator.
Works well!Packaging job was terrible though; its too heavy for a simple cardboard box with taped ends. It showed up all banged up and lost lots of bolts during shipping. I'm pretty handy and was able to put it together and call it a day.
