Too small for ages 8 and up, more for age 5-6

SIZE… this set is a SMALL set, more of a “toy” than an instrument, however, very nice for what it is. Bought for my smaller 11-year-old but it’s more fitting for my 6-year-old. The drum sticks are real and the sound isn’t too bad…my kids young and (too big!) old have played around with it and made them sound like real drums. My 11-year-old is starting to learn but I’ll definitely be looking for something more his size and I’m disappointed I got something at this price point that was not at least a bit bigger in size…seems it’s this or full size (no in between, which was what I hoped this was).

Great for my 4 year old!!!!

Overall great drum set especially for a 4 year just starting off, they assembly was okay and for my son they were a joy. For me a lot of noise!!! Just wish I could find a set had better cymbals.
