I bought these shelves to use in my GARVEE greenhouse because they were six feet long. Since the side walls of my greenhouse are only four feet high, after assembling the vertical pipes, I cut them in half to make two shelf units six feet long and three feet high.I wouldn't consider these "heavy duty". They're not like the similar heavy duty shelving I see locally. The vertical pipes are only 3/4 in. in diameter. However, they should fit my purpose.
We use these in our greenhouse, they work very well
be sure to watch the video here on Garvee when you get these or you will have trouble assembling them as the paper directions are poor. However, for the price, these shelves are a great deal. So happy I didn't get the restaraunt supplier version which was $350 with shipping.
This was a holiday gift for my elderly mother and she absolutely loves it. It looks great in her pantry and is just so pleased. Easy to assemble just follow instructions. Very solid construction
