Perfect for small coups

Cool Metal Nest

I installed this in a small coop setup to improve egg collection and reduce how often I had to clean out the nesting area. Mounted it along one wall with access from outside so I wouldn’t have to enter the coop every time.The roll-away feature works as intended, eggs move out of the main nesting area shortly after being laid. That keeps them cleaner and reduces the chances of breakage or pecking. It also makes collection faster since everything ends up in one place.Assembly takes a bit of attention, especially lining up panels and making sure edges sit correctly. Some of the metal edges are a little sharp during setup, so it’s worth taking your time. Once everything is together and mounted, it feels stable.Ventilation is decent and helps keep the nesting area from getting too damp or stale. It doesn’t eliminate cleaning entirely, but it reduces how often it’s needed. Over time, it just makes the coop easier to maintain.
