And I have to say, the peonies themselves are very full, mixed with small and medium sized flowers; most importantly, they are securely attached — no loose blooms, no shedding leaves, no surprises falling off in your hands.Up close, if you lean right over the bouquet, you can tell these aren’t high‑end faux florals. They don’t have that velvety realism or the depth of color that tricks the eye. But from about five feet away — and certainly from across a room — they create a lovely impression. Not “is that real?” convincing, but definitely pretty, cheerful, and well‑arranged. They’re nicer than many faux flowers I’ve tried, but they won’t fool anyone who’s paying attention.Where this bouquet shines is in the everyday spaces — a makeup stand, a vanity, a guest room corner that needs a little softening. That’s exactly how I use it, and it adds just the right touch of color and charm without demanding attention. But for weddings, special events, or outdoor gatherings where you want that lush, believable floral moment, this wouldn’t be my pick. When this first came out of the box, I’ll be honest… the flowers were pretty smashed down from packaging and looked a little flat. It definitely took some time fluffing, separating, and shaping each stem to get it looking full and realistic again.Once I finished though, it really came to life. The colors are soft and pretty and it makes a really nice centerpiece. From a distance especially, it looks much more expensive than it is.One thing to note though, the faux water level in the vase is pretty low, so you do see more of the stems than I expected. It’s not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of. I actually ended up placing the entire arrangement into a different vase (as shown in my photos), and I like the look much better this way.Overall, this is one of those items that doesn’t look impressive straight out of the box, but with a little effort it ends up looking gorgeous and adds a really nice touch to the space.

Do they look realistic? Not if you're close, but for where I needed them in an office bookshelf that nobody really looks at anyway, they were perfect - a small, bright pop of color that you don't have to water.When it arrived, the plasticky petals and leaves were pretty smooshed, and there doesn't seem to be much you can do about floofing them. Just embrace that it's an inexpensive novelty piece and you'll be okay.
