This trellis comes flat packed in a lot of pieces, so there is a bit of assembly to do. At first I thought it was a lot to do, but once you realize it's just three pieces each section to put together, and if you just follow the pretty easy and clear directions, it is not hard at all. You do need a bit of space to do it - I started putting it together in my living room as it was too hot outside, and luckily I just had enough space to get it up and together. I was very surprised by the support clips and the sturdiness they added to the frame - I wasn't expecting them to 1) add so much stability and 2) be so hard to adjust - I thought I'd just tug on the leg parts a bit to get it square and I was wrong - they were not gonna budge without actual effort, or easier - just open the clips up and reinstall (best method). Overall, those wire clips impressed me - simple and deceptively strong for what they are. I have the trellis up in my garden now for some late season cucumbers and I liked how easy it was to move, to set up and it is weirdly sturdy for being a pieced together item. The netting leaves something to be desired - I wish they had included clips to attach it better to the frame. Overall, for the price I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome.

We have a nice garden space in our new home, and I have been growing vegetables for two years. My favorite is cucumber. It grows well and tastes great. The crunch sound when you bite is very satisfying. But before, I did not give enough support, and the plants got sick easily. I saw this kind of trellis in my friend’s garden, and they were happy with it. So I bought this one.Setup is not very easy. It takes some time. Better with two people. The poles connect to each other easily, but when you make the pyramid shape, there is a step where you must fix the long poles on the sides with clips. That part is complicated. I did not understand at first how to use them. I figured it out by trial and error. The clips are interesting. If you place them correctly, one side pushes up, the other side pushes down, and they lock the two poles in the middle with opposite pressure. My tip: check the photos I added. If you attach them the same way, you will not struggle like I did.You can set the trellis as an A-frame pyramid shape or open it flat for a wider space. It also comes with a green netting for the plants to climb. That is a big plus.The size is about 47.2 x 47.2 inches (120 x 120 cm). Weight is 3.5 lbs (1.6 kg). Material is powder-coated iron. The coating makes it resist rust and rain. It feels steady even in wind. I placed it next to the fence, so I don’t think wind will be a big problem. Still, I fixed it to the ground with soil staples to make it more secure.I just planted cucumbers. They are small now but I placed them right in the middle, close to the base. As they grow, the tendrils will easily grab the netting and then cover the whole trellis. This design works very well for cucumbers and beans. I don’t think it is strong enough for heavy plants like tomatoes or eggplants.The material is not cheap. It feels strong and solid. But the instructions are bad. The pictures are not clear, and the clip part is not explained well.The netting does not need any care. No cleaning or maintenance is required. If you store it, you can use the same netting next season. For durability, I will not leave it outside in winter. Nobody can fight nature. I will take it apart and put it in the shed when the season ends. When disassembled, it takes almost no space. You just fold it and lean it against the shed wall.Overall, I think this trellis is good for cucumbers and beans. It is sturdy once built, the netting helps the plants climb, and it should last for many seasons if you store it after each year.
