Sturdy entry level drill press

I have never owned a drill press. This thing is solidly made. Easy to put together. Didn't come with instructions and I have a plastic piece and an aluminum strip I have no idea what to do with. Works just fine but I wouldn't say it's really powerful. I used it on wet pine and it kept trying to sieze up. Drilling in small increments remedied that. I imagine the power can be adjusted but...no instructions. Buy a vise to hold your wood in place. Included photo of mystery pieces. Project got done so I'm happy with purchase

Poor customer service

The drill press works fine the only problem was it had a strip nut on the pulley so I I got in touch with customer service and then they were supposed to send me a new nut and they sent me a new nut but I had a drill press attached to it now I have to deal with sending the new drill press back
