Previously, I was constantly tripping over hoses on the ground or having them obstruct the wheels of my creeper. Initially, I thought retracting hose reels were just an unnecessary luxury. However, like those premium bath towels, high thread-count bed sheets, and not-from-concentrate orange juice, I can’t imagine going back!Installation was a breeze; I easily mounted it to the ceiling of my garage. The package includes all necessary mounting hardware, and the construction feels very sturdy. The retracting spring is impressively strong and can even support my 1/2"" impact gun. The hose itself is both flexible and of high quality, and I have no doubt it will serve me well for many years to come. I must say, I am now truly spoiled!

The reel and hose are of excellent quality, definitely suitable for home use. As a mechanical engineer, I have full confidence in the mounting bolts and retractable air hose reel provided. The installation instructions are very detailed and clear. Additionally, it’s easy to create a base plate and use standard hardware to customize it according to your needs. I mounted mine under my workbench, right next to my small compressor.However, adding two extra rollers to the two side guides would greatly enhance the hose's guidance, ensuring it functions well regardless of the direction it's pulled. Personally, I simply stand in front of it to pull out the required length of hose and then move to the point of use.The retraction spring is impressively strong.I believe it’s reasonable to expect air hose reel retractable to last more than 12 years with moderate home use.
