Nice bench top unit, compact but works great for a number of tasks I asked of it
Works great perfect for small jobs for bearings automotive use motorcycles.
This is a pretty decent shop press for the home mechanic doing occasional light to medium duty work. I've used it to R&R the shafts and bearings on commercial lawn mower spindles, straighten a slightly bent shaft, and fix some misaligned clamping tools. It worked flawlessly for all of that — a great addition to my shop. The compact size and modest weight also make it easy to move around and store.On the downside, you really have to crank down the work beam to keep the legs from wobbling, which makes it a hassle to quickly adjust the height up or down on the pins. Also, Vevor would be smart to include longer, better quality hardware with the press — a lot of the bolts are barely adequate, and some are just too short. And I gotta say, I'm a little concerned about the relief valve on the bottle jack. It feels a bit wonky and takes a lot of force to fully close. Hopefully it won't start leaking under pressure.All in all, it's still a good value for the money, and I'd buy it again — just with some better nuts, bolts, and washers on hand.
Press worked fine once I received all parts. Poorly packaged for weight. Missing parts, needed two deliveries and one return.
