This is a pretty solid and well built GARVEE trash can. The mechanism that pushes the lid up, after pushing the foot piece, is made out of metal so I feel confident that it would last for many years to come. I like the overall design of the piece as well. The outside of the trashcan is simple without any obnoxious logo design. I also like that the inside piece is easily removable which makes it easy to clean in case of any spills from holes in the bag. When I fully press down on the pedal, it goes all the way up 90 degrees, and then slowly comes back down. There's hardly any sound when the lid makes contact with the trashcan as it's just the ruffling sound of the trashbag. For my 13 gallon trash bags, the can is a perfect sized fit. I can easily add and remove the bag without hassle.Overall, I'm really happy with this trashcan. The design is well built and the pedal is easy to actuate. Being able to remove the inner plastic piece from the metal body is actually convenient when I want to wash it incase of spills.

I also like that the lid opens up all the way, like straight up, making it easier to dump whatever into the bin.
