Husband needed the comfort of a recliner but space was a premium. He is 6 foot tall and about 300 lbs but this chair works great. It has given him the comfort he needs after surgery.

I love the size for myself. 5’6 123lbs. Small bedroom. I don’t think that the vibrating massage feature is very good. It’s pretty weak and it shuts off like every 5 to 10 minutes. I don’t know it should just stay on since it’s plugged in that goes the same with the heat cause it’s on the same remote. And the only other thing I would complain about is that I wish the feet would go up in the back would stay up or vice versa but they both go down at the same time so there is no in between. Other than that, it’s pretty comfortable. Lightweight to move around. Sturdy. I wish the back was a little bit higher for my pillow because it always falls on the ground. But I would recommend it for myself again. Lol.

This chair gets 5 stars for meeting my size requirements, but I would give between 3 and 4 for these reasons. I HAD to have a shallow depth recliner - very difficult to find something under 30 inches from front to back for my small bedroom corner. This was the only model I found and I bought this gray fabric one and I have the same chair (without the heat and massage in faux black leather). The gray fabric is not really soft, kind of scratchy, but since I have a blanket on it and didn't really get it for the comfort factor, I am just noting that. The other one I have in faux black leather has a stiffer head/support area. This head support is pretty floppy as the stiff support in the back only goes up to the upper shoulder area, so the cushion can be very flimsy as far as support for the head. BUT if you use the attached pillow at the head area as pictured, it makes it fine. I also like that there is a good distance between the seat and the head so your head actually lands on the headrest, not far above it. That was also a requirement of mine. The chair does NOT look like a mini chair although it is narrow (and I selected it for this smaller size), it's fine for all my almost adult and adult family. The massage and heat are very mild, not a reason to get this chair and I didn't really get it for that reason. The electric reclining works well and you can lift the legs significantly before the back starts to recline and that's my favorite part of this chair that you can kick your feet up and still be in upright position. THe additional strap on cushion can be used in the lumbar position or at the head and you can use your own pillow if you want the lumbar position.
