I was impressed with many aspects of this drill press.* The overall size was larger than I anticipated. This is a very heavy and robust machine.* Very powerful motor.* Good fit and finish throughout.* Great table and adjustment settings.I've used it a few times - so far so good. I think it was a great value for the money. Better quality than I anticipated.

Metalworker Approved – Handles Steel

Drilled 1/4" steel brackets like butter with cobalt bits! The 7.5 Amp motor didn’t bog down, and speeds down to 288 RPM prevented overheating. Cast iron base absorbed vibration – no ‘walking’ on the bench. The 10x10" table is sturdy but wish it had T-slots for clamps. Worth every penny for precision!
