This rug provided the perfect festive touch to our den during the holidays. The 4' x 6' size was ideal for placing in front of the sofa. The texture is exceptionally soft and velvety. It is lightweight yet durable. The rug remains securely in place without needing to be anchored, and our robot vacuum glides across it without any issues. We used it from Thanksgiving until after New Year's without any problems. There was no shedding or lint. Packing it away for next year was easy, as I simply refolded it as it arrived and stored it in a protective case. I would highly recommend this washable rug to anyone in the market.
So, the version of this holiday winter rug I got is 2 feet by 8 feet, a perfect hallway runner size. (But, which seems not to be an option anymore in the listing.) Everything about it is actually of nice quality. The colors are vibrant, the carpet feels soft under your feet, (though thin,) and it does have non-slip rubber on the backing so it stays-put on laminate floors. My only negatives are the red is a very, very prominent red, and could have been a rich starry-night sky blue with a lot more appeal. And, as a young visitor to my home said, it looks like a tree-monster's mouth if you stare at it long enough. (See the second picture.) LOL.
I love having a fun winter mat to walk into in my entryway! It's nothing special, just a thin, nonslip, but soft little rug to wipe your feet on or shake off the snow.
This rug is 100% as beautiful in person. The rug folds out easily, and after I ran a vacuum over it, most of the folds disappeared. The lines are clean and the colors are very bright. The rug is so so soft and thin enough so that it is cleanable, but not cheap feeling. I also think it’s pretty neat that as it is relatively thin, you can fold it in half And still get a super cute rug. I was unsure of where I wanted to put the rug, so I folded it in half to fit a very specific space, and as the pattern is around the outside of the entire rug, when you folded in half it looks just as pretty. I’ve gotten so many compliments on this rug that I am sad it is only for the holiday season. I’m already looking forward to taking it out year after year.
