Nice stainless steel workbench/table. It's very sturdy and pretty simple to assemble. Keep a hammer handy though. The legs fit together very snug and I needed to use a hammer to get them fully seated.It would be nice to have adjustable feet for areas that aren't completely level. Also, the brackets are only tack welded. This is fine, but I would have liked a full weld for additional strength. Not worth of knocking a star off. Just something I would have preferred.It takes about 20 minutes to assemble at a casual pace.This will work perfectly as an accessory table for when I'm brewing beer. It's a great deal for it's size.My photos still have the protective wrap on the tabletop and lower shelf. Keeping it that way until I'm ready to use the table.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:We just bought our first home and our kitchen may be large, but it was sadly lacking in countertop space. I've slowly been adding unique kitchen solutions instead of doing an entire remodel. A butcher block was on the top of my list for necessities, we have 5 people here, three boys between 16 and 22, my partner, and myself (the only female, lol). We purchase meat in bulk, then break it down into smaller parts because single packages just gets too expensive. This metal table is the PERFECT butcher block! It's plenty big enough to break down those bulk meat items, and adds extra surface area when cooking. U can also just sit my hot stuff right on it without needing a hot pad, we have cats, and for some reason they live playing with the silicone hot pads, lol. It's very easy to wipe down and keep clean, and it even came with it's own microfiber cloth to help with finger prints! It also fits right in with my black and stainless with Grey accents kitchen! The bottom shelf is also handy for storing other items, i just cleared them off for the pictures so everyone could see the table itself well.
