It very cool my room. Love it.

I bought a cheaper portable unit last summer and was emptying water buckets twice a day during humid stretches. This one’s self-evaporating design actually works — the moisture gets used to cool the coils, and I haven’t had to manually drain it at all, even running for 10+ hours. When mugginess hits, I switch into dehumidifier mode and it pulls incredibly moist air out of my basement — easily matching the 50-pint-level performance. And it’s still a true 10,000 BTU cooling beast that handles my 450 sq.ft workshop. Having cool, dehumidify, and fan-only all in one 3-in-1 AC unit saves me floor space and effort. No buckets, no musty smells, just dry, cold air.

Works great!!!! Yeah it makes noise but it’s not that bad. If you are like me you can’t afford the ones that are quiet and frankly if it’s a choice between comfortable with background noise OR quiet and sticky……. Well bring the noise.For the price it does very very well!!! It says it’s for 450sqft but I have it in a 750spft den that gets tons of light. We have central air but it doesn’t do well at all down there. So we don’t really hang out in the den which is a shame but now it’s the place to be ! That A/C units kicks butt! It keeps it cool and because the humidifier works so well the air is crisp. If you live in a humid area be sure to try to set it up to drain outside. It fills up really quick.Super easy to set up. Took me 15 minutes which if I can do it that means it’ll be like 5 minutes for you.

This AC is practical and fits well in my studio apartment. Its dehumidifying function helps during humid weather. The remote control makes temperature adjusting effortless, no need to get up every time. Great for watching TV or relaxing.
